My time in the United States Navy gave me the confidence and strength I needed to take risks. I also learned the true value of teamwork. I learned it s important to step up, when most other people won't, and do the right thing. It gave me the courage to face any adversity head on and find a solution. I will always be grateful for the time I spent on board a ship and for all the shipmates I made over the years.
